for context, im both and i have never, not once, got the impression someone was a predator and been proven wrong. i’ve told myself to be careful, don’t be judgemental, you don’t know this guy (cause it’s almost always a guy lol), etc. but every single time, I later found out that I was right.
maybe it’s that there’s another intersecting dimension with ours with its own set of rules and we’re interacting with it. maybe it’s something about how they stand or how they talk or how they look at you. idk what it is, but i know it is frighteningly reliable.
i’ve actually studied this in the context of fighting. There are things your eyes pick up that are too small/quick/short for your brain to consciously process. but the messages still get sent and what your brain actually gets is just a general “bad vibe” or uncomfortable aura. there are very small signs, in the way they stand, speak, act, or move that clue you in to the intentions of a person. Listen to your gut its just processing things that your brain cant
